VIABLE_SAMPLER_CTRL

Active-air viable sampler control: draws a programmed volume at the rated flow and invalidates the plate if it cannot.

Validated application blockLS · EnvironmentIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use VIABLE_SAMPLER_CTRL when an active-air microbial sampler draws a metered volume of room air onto a settle or impaction plate, and the volume actually drawn has to be recorded and defensible.

Supervised control write

VIABLE_SAMPLER_CTRL commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
