UNWIND_DIAMETER_CALC

Roll-diameter inference from surface speed and roll rpm, with plausibility limits, filtering and a remaining-length estimate.

Validated application blockCPG · ConvertingIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.1.0

When to use it

Use UNWIND_DIAMETER_CALC when an unwind or rewind has no ultrasonic or laser diameter sensor, and taper tension, tension gain scheduling or splice preparation need to know how much roll is left.

Interface

The published port signature. This is the whole of what the block exposes to your program — the implementation body is not shown here and ships with the download.
