TOU_OPTIMIZER

Time-of-use charge and discharge window planner with reserve protection, hysteresis and pre-peak top-up.

Validated application blockMG · Market & ForecastIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use TOU_OPTIMIZER when a battery is cycled against a time-of-use tariff — charge off-peak, discharge on-peak — and the windows must respect a backup reserve, survive a missing tariff feed, and never ask for charge and discharge at the same time.
