THERMAL_STORAGE_CTRL

Chilled-water or ice thermal-storage charge/discharge mode selection with state-of-charge guardrails and rate tapering.

Validated application blockBAS · Central PlantIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use THERMAL_STORAGE_CTRL when a chilled-water or ice storage tank is used to shift cooling load off the electrical peak, and something has to decide each interval whether to charge it, draw from it, or leave it alone.
