THD_MONITOR

Voltage and current harmonic distortion monitor — THD from true-RMS against fundamental, with current reported as total demand distortion.

Validated application blockGen · MeasurementIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use THD_MONITOR when a generator or bus feeds non-linear load (drives, UPS, rectifier front ends) and distortion has to be trended and annunciated — for alternator derating, for filter or transformer sizing, or to hold a point of common coupling inside IEEE 519.
