SPREADER_CTRL

Load-handling attachment sequencing — twistlock spreader, gripper or magnet — with landed proof and a lift permissive.

Validated application blockMHE · Crane & HoistIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use SPREADER_CTRL when a crane picks its load through an attachment that has to be commanded and proven — a twistlock spreader, a gripper, a clamp or a lifting magnet — and the lift must not start until the attachment is proven engaged.

Supervised control write

SPREADER_CTRL commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
