SPLIT_RANGE

Split-range output driving two actuators from one controller, in either the opposing or the sequenced arrangement, with a crossover deadband.

Validated application blockProcess ControlIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use SPLIT_RANGE when one loop has two actuators — heating and cooling coils on an air handler, heating and chilled water on a zone valve pair, a small and a large control valve staged across one range, charge and discharge on a battery inverter.
