SIP_7UM_GEN

SIPROTEC-shaped generator protection element set: reverse power (32R), loss of field (40), under/over frequency (81U/81O), under/over voltage (27/59), stator earth fault (64) and backup overcurrent (51), each with its own definite-time stage and a single reported trip cause.

When to use it

Use SIP_7UM_GEN when a synchronous generator's electrical protection has to be modelled or supervised from the PLC — a standby set, a CHP or embedded generator, a site's own generation — and the operator needs to know WHICH element operated, not just that the machine tripped.

Interface

Supervised control write

SIP_7UM_GEN commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
