SIP_7SJ_EF

SIPROTEC-shaped sensitive and directional earth-fault characteristic (ANSI 50N/51N/67N/67Ns): residual-current pickup, a V0-polarised directional sector, and the same IEC 60255-151 curves as the phase element.

When to use it

Use SIP_7SJ_EF when residual (zero-sequence) current has to be supervised — a sensitive earth-fault setting on a high-impedance or compensated network, or a directional earth-fault element on a network with more than one earthed source — and the setting vocabulary is expected to look like a 7SJ.

Supervised control write

SIP_7SJ_EF commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
