SIP_7SD_LDIF

SIPROTEC-shaped two-ended line current differential (ANSI 87L): the same per-phase dual-slope restraint as the transformer element, plus telecommunication-channel supervision that blocks the protection when the remote end cannot be seen.

When to use it

Use SIP_7SD_LDIF when a two-ended line or cable differential scheme over a fibre or IEEE C37.94 channel has to be modelled or supervised in the PLC — as a settings and channel-availability study, as the protection model in a network simulation, or as the alarm and reporting layer around a real 87L.

Supervised control write

SIP_7SD_LDIF commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
