SE_P44x_DIST

MiCOM P44x shaped distance element (ANSI 21) with three graded impedance zones, a reach reset ratio and voltage-transformer supervision blocking.

Validated application blockPSUB·SchneiderIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use SE_P44x_DIST when a transmission or sub-transmission feeder needs graded impedance-based protection modelled in the PLC — zone timing, backup grading and the VT-failure behaviour that dominates distance-scheme design reviews.

Supervised control write

SE_P44x_DIST commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
