RADIANT_SLAB_CTRL

Radiant slab or panel valve control with zone reset, surface limits and dewpoint condensation protection.

Validated application blockBAS · Zone & ComfortIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use RADIANT_SLAB_CTRL when a heated or cooled slab, radiant panel or chilled ceiling is served by a modulating water valve, the surface temperature is measured, and — in cooling — the surface must be kept clear of the room dewpoint.

Supervised control write

RADIANT_SLAB_CTRL commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
