MINMAX_TRACK

Running minimum and maximum since reset, with an optional demand interval that publishes each period's extremes.

Validated application blockEdge AnalyticsIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use MINMAX_TRACK when the extremes of a signal matter rather than its average — peak electrical demand over a billing interval, the highest cold-aisle temperature during a shift, the deepest voltage sag on an EV charger feed, the widest excursion of a controlled variable during a test.
