MG_MODE_MANAGER

Microgrid mode state machine — grid-tied, islanding, islanded, resynchronising — sequencing the grid-forming hand-off.

Validated application blockMG · OrchestrationIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use MG_MODE_MANAGER when a microgrid can run both connected to and separated from the utility, and one place has to own which of those it is, who is holding the bus, and what the point of interconnection is allowed to do next.

Supervised control write

MG_MODE_MANAGER commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
