MG_BLACK_START

Microgrid black-start sequencer: proves the bus dead, energises it from the grid-forming source, brings rotating plant on, and restores load in blocks.

Validated application blockMG · OrchestrationIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use MG_BLACK_START when a microgrid has to be brought up from a dead bus with no utility behind it, and the restoration has to be stepped so the island is never asked to pick up more load than the sources already online can hold.

Interface

The published port signature. This is the whole of what the block exposes to your program — the implementation body is not shown here and ships with the download.

Supervised control write

MG_BLACK_START commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
