MCB_CTRL

Mains breaker (52M) control with utility acceptance dwell, check-sync supervised close, backfeed protection and trip seal-in.

Validated application blockGen · Breaker & TransferIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use MCB_CTRL when the utility breaker of a standby or paralleling installation is operated by the controller, and it must not close onto a supply that has not proven itself, nor onto a live bus without a check-sync, nor stay closed onto a failed utility while the generator is feeding the bus.

Supervised control write

MCB_CTRL commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
