MAG_FLOW_METER

Electromagnetic flow meter conditioning with empty-pipe confirmation, low-flow cutoff and pipe-velocity derivation.

Validated application blockW/WW · Flow & HydraulicsIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use MAG_FLOW_METER when a magnetic flow meter on a water, sludge or final-effluent line is wired to the PLC as a 4-20 mA signal plus an empty-pipe contact, and the flow reading has to be trusted by a totaliser, a dosing loop or a district balance downstream.
