GRID_CONNECT_MON

Service-transformer loading and grid-voltage monitor, publishing the headroom the load manager allocates from.

Validated application blockEV · Site EnergyIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use GRID_CONNECT_MON when a charging site sits behind a service transformer whose rating, not the switchgear, is the binding constraint, and the loading and connection voltage have to be watched and turned into a headroom figure and a shed request.

Interface

Supervised control write

GRID_CONNECT_MON commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
