GAS_FLARE_CTRL

Waste-gas flare sequencer with mandatory pre-ignition purge, limited ignition trials, flame supervision to a flame-failure response time, and manual-reset lockout.

Validated application blockW/WW · Sludge & DigestionIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use GAS_FLARE_CTRL when surplus digester or landfill gas is burned in an unattended waste-gas flare that starts on gas pressure, is lit by an igniter, and is supervised by a flame detector.

Supervised control write

GAS_FLARE_CTRL commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
