FLEX_LOAD_ADAPTER

Flexible-load adapter: sheddable capacity above a process floor, maximum shed duration, minimum-restore payback lockout with a countdown, and shed-verification supervision.

Validated application blockMG · Asset IntegrationIEC 61131-3v1.0.0

When to use it

Use FLEX_LOAD_ADAPTER when a controllable load — chiller plant, batch process, resistive heating, a data-hall power cap — is offered to a microgrid or demand-response programme, and the offer must respect the process's own floor, its maximum shed duration and the recovery time it needs before it can be shed again.

Supervised control write

FLEX_LOAD_ADAPTER commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
