FEED_PROFILE_CTRL

Fed-batch substrate feed profile — constant, linear ramp, biomass-driven exponential or DO-stat — with a cumulative volume cap.

Validated application blockLS · BioreactorIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use FEED_PROFILE_CTRL when a fed-batch fermentation or cell culture delivers substrate on a profile rather than on a controller, and the profile has to be selectable, holdable by the batch manager, and bounded by the total volume the vessel can take.

Interface

The published port signature. This is the whole of what the block exposes to your program — the implementation body is not shown here and ships with the download.
