ESCALATOR_SUPERV

Station escalator / passenger-conveyor supervision: availability, start proving, motor-load overload and underload supervision, run-hour and start accounting.

Validated application blockTransit · Station & WaysideIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.1.0

When to use it

Use ESCALATOR_SUPERV when a station escalator or passenger conveyor (moving walk) is started and stopped by the station control system, and the operations control centre needs its availability, its faults and its duty accounting without being sent everything the escalator controller sees. NOT for lifts, counterbalanced hoists or any drive whose normal running load can approach zero, unless the underload element is disabled with UDL_EN — see the notes.

Supervised control write

ESCALATOR_SUPERV commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
