ENGINE_START_SEQ

Engine start sequence with limited crank attempts, enforced rest, crank disconnect and latched start-fail lockout.

Validated application blockGen · EngineIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.1.0

When to use it

Use ENGINE_START_SEQ when a diesel or gas generator set is started automatically — standby, AMF/ATS, peak-lopping or paralleling duty — and the crank attempts must be limited and rested so a set that will not start does not destroy its own starter and battery.

Interface
