ENGINE_PROTECT
Engine shutdowns for low oil pressure, high coolant temperature and overspeed, with a start inhibit and a first-out cause code.
When to use it
Use ENGINE_PROTECT when a generator set needs its engine shutdowns implemented in the controller — low lube-oil pressure, high jacket-water temperature and overspeed — with the shutdown latched and the reason it tripped preserved for the operator.
Interface
The published port signature. This is the whole of what the block exposes to your program — the implementation body is not shown here and ships with the download.

Supervised control write
ENGINE_PROTECT commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
