END_TRAVEL_LIMIT

End-of-travel slowdown and stop limit for one end of a travel axis, with over-travel latch and recovery at creep.

Validated application blockMHE · Safety & DiagnosticsIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use END_TRAVEL_LIMIT when a long-travel, cross-travel or hoist axis runs to a physical end of runway and the motion controller's speed reference must be clamped to creep at a slowdown point and to zero at a stop point, independently of the profile the controller is executing.

Interface

The published port signature. This is the whole of what the block exposes to your program — the implementation body is not shown here and ships with the download.

Supervised control write

END_TRAVEL_LIMIT commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
