ECONOMIC_DISPATCH
Merit-order dispatch of PV, battery, turbine and the utility against their true marginal costs.
When to use it
Use ECONOMIC_DISPATCH when a microgrid has more than one way to serve the next kilowatt — a metered utility, a fuelled machine, a battery and a renewable source — and the choice between them should be made every scan on marginal cost, capacity and state of charge rather than by an operator's habit.
