CLOSED_XFER

Closed-transition (make-before-break) transfer with live check-sync, hard overlap-time limit and a backup separation.

Validated application blockGen · Breaker & TransferIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use CLOSED_XFER when a load has to move between the utility and the generator without an interruption, the connection agreement permits a transient parallel, and the overlap must be bounded by something that acts rather than merely annunciates.

Supervised control write

CLOSED_XFER commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
