CAM_PROFILE

Cam follower: the slave position is a selectable motion law of the master phase, with a continuous multi-cycle command and a four-knot user table.

Validated application blockMotionIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use CAM_PROFILE when a follower has to move as a non-linear function of a master position — an indexing table, a flying shear, a rotary filler, a reciprocating knife — and the follower has to run cycle after cycle without a discontinuity at the cam boundary.

Interface

The published port signature. This is the whole of what the block exposes to your program — the implementation body is not shown here and ships with the download.
