BLACK_BUILDING_TEST

Full-site power-fail drill: utility open, ride-through on battery, generator pickup, soak and return to utility.

When to use it

Use BLACK_BUILDING_TEST when the site's annual or semi-annual black-building test has to be run as a controlled sequence — utility opened deliberately, load riding on UPS, generators picking up, soak, and a proven return — with an automatic abandon if the load is not picked up in time.

Supervised control write

BLACK_BUILDING_TEST commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
