AXIS_STOP

Commanded controlled stop that decelerates the axis at a set rate, proves standstill from feedback, and holds the axis against other motion commands.

Validated application blockMotionIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use AXIS_STOP when a sequence, an interlock or an operator has to bring an axis to a controlled halt at a known deceleration and then hold it there so no other motion block can take it until the hold is deliberately released.
