AVR_VOLT_CTRL

Generator terminal-voltage PI controller with reactive droop, synchroniser and VAr-sharing bias, and a clamped excitation demand.

Validated application blockGen · Governor & AVRIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use AVR_VOLT_CTRL when a generator's excitation is regulated from a terminal-voltage measurement — constant voltage on its own, or on reactive droop in parallel — and the excitation demand has to accept trims from a synchroniser's voltage matcher and a VAr-sharing line.
