AUX_CONVERTER_CTRL

Auxiliary converter supervision — start on a stable DC link, two-stage temperature-compensated battery charging, and staged load shedding.

Validated application blockTransit · TractionIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use AUX_CONVERTER_CTRL when an auxiliary power converter feeds the vehicle's HVAC, compressor, lighting and battery charger from the traction DC link, and the supervisory layer has to start it, run the battery charge and shed load when the converter or the link cannot carry it.

Interface

Supervised control write

AUX_CONVERTER_CTRL commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
