AIRSIDE_ECON_CTRL

Airside economiser — differential-enthalpy changeover with dry-bulb fallback, mixed-air low limit and an integrated-economiser permissive for mechanical cooling.

Validated application blockBAS · Air HandlingIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use AIRSIDE_ECON_CTRL when an air-handling unit has a modulating outdoor-air damper and free cooling has to be decided on a differential-enthalpy (or dry-bulb) comparison, with the mixed-air temperature protecting the coil and mechanical cooling held off until the damper is fully open.
