ACCESS_LEVEL_CHECK

Authority check with session and idle-timeout supervision: the logged-in user's level is compared against the level the action requires.

Validated application blockLS · ComplianceIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use ACCESS_LEVEL_CHECK when an action in the control system is restricted to a role — clearing an alarm, entering a manual value, changing a mode, starting a phase — and the controller has to withhold it from anyone below that level, including from a terminal left logged in and unattended.
