ABB_REM615_MPR

Motor protection combining an IEC 60255-149 thermal replica with negative-sequence heating and ambient bias, separate start-stall and running-stall timers, and an I2-squared-t unbalance element.

When to use it

Use ABB_REM615_MPR when a squirrel-cage motor needs thermal overload protection that remembers stored heat between starts, stall protection that distinguishes a long start from a locked rotor, and unbalance protection against a lost phase — and a restart inhibit that keeps the motor off until it has cooled.

Supervised control write

ABB_REM615_MPR commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
