ABB_REF615_PTOC

Three-phase inverse-time and instantaneous overcurrent element with the IEC 60255-151 curve family, disc reset characteristic and sealed-in trip.

Validated application blockPSUB·ABBIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use ABB_REF615_PTOC when a feeder, transformer incomer or motor circuit needs a graded overcurrent element (ANSI 51) with an optional high-set instantaneous stage (ANSI 50), and the operate time has to follow a published IEC curve so it can be coordinated against upstream and downstream devices.

Supervised control write

ABB_REF615_PTOC commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
