ABB_REF615_EFP

Directional earth-fault element on residual current with a polarised forward sector, IEC curve family and definite-time stage.

Validated application blockPSUB·ABBIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use ABB_REF615_EFP when a feeder needs a sensitive earth-fault element that must stay selective on a network with more than one earthed source, so residual current alone is not enough and the fault direction has to be confirmed against the residual voltage.

Supervised control write

ABB_REF615_EFP commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
