ABB_ACH580_HVAC

ABB ACH580 HVAC drive — ABB Drives profile telegram driver with speed limits, no jog and no fieldbus fire override.

Validated application blockVFD · ABBIEC 61131-3IEC 61499v1.0.0

When to use it

Use ABB_ACH580_HVAC when an ACH580 HVAC drive is controlled over a fieldbus using the ABB Drives communication profile — a supply or extract fan, a pump on a heating or chilled-water circuit, a cooling-tower fan — and the BMS or PLC owns the run/stop decision and the speed band.

Supervised control write

ABB_ACH580_HVAC commands a real actuator. It is written to sit underneath your own interlock, permissive and protection logic — not to replace it. Commission it as you would any control block you wrote yourself.
